Unless you swing it for a half-hour into a brick wall or throw it in a roaring fire, this is a forever hatchet. Besides making it free, there is nothing Fiskars can do to improve it. This hatchet has been worked and held up great. I keep it sharp with a Lansky puck sharpener. Indestructible.
